Cable/Harness Testing Made Easy. Our engineers and programmers keep close track of NASA as a key Cirris customer and are excited by the photos sent back to earth by the Mars Exploration Rovers. Several images of the rovers show wire harnesses. This presents an inspiring message of the importance of making connections we all can depend on. This month we provide a virtual demo of our "Alarm Box" option for Signature H+ and R+ testers. We also give you links to 3D Mars images and we'll send you some 3D glasses. If you have any questions or comments, call us at 1-800-441-9910. Best Regards, |

Ever get a cable assembly returned and on inspection it seems impossible for it to have ever tested good? The "Alarm box" option for Signature H+ and R+ testers is one of several approaches for avoiding defect escapes. With a repetitive task there is a risk of an operator inadvertently tossing a cable that tests bad into the good pile. Avoid defect escapes, see our Virtual Demo to learn more about Alarm Boxes: Alarm Box Information |

Our product developers spotted wire harnesses in high resolution pictures sent back to earth from Mars. The JPL/NASA rovers Spirit and Opportunity are sending pictures with incredible detail including the complex harnesses on the vehicles themselves. Many of these pictures can be seen three-dimensionally with the classic Red/Cyan 3D glasses. We thought these pictures might inspire you as they have us since so much of our work lives center around such cables and harnesses. Our product developers wanted you to be able to see the 3-D pictures. If we sent this email to you just reply with "3D" in the subject line (leave the email body intact) and we will send you 3D glasses. If this email was fowarded to you please include your name and address when you reply. The glasses are nothing fancy but you will be impressed at how much they add to the views of the Martian surface. We put together a page showing a few high-resolution images of wire harnesses on the rovers along with the Martian surface and links to a few good Mars 3D sites: Links to 3D Photos | |
